All 3 schools open this week

All 3 schools open this week

Published by Sanjay Bagga

After a week off for the half term we are pleased to say all 3 schools are open this week.

LDN Wrestling Training is run by the LDN British Heavyweight, former Capital Wrestling champion and star of LDN- Alan Lee Travis.

Coach

Alan Lee Travis

Alan is one of LDN’s biggest stars having been a coach for over three years now. He started off as a student himself, back in 2007 and has worked up the LDN ranks. A former Capital and two-time LDN British Heavyweight Champion, he is one of the hardest working wrestlers, touring the country wrestling from Llandudno to Isle of Wight. Having wrestled on LDN Capital TV he's also the featured wrestler on the new World of Sport TV Taping.

Our Schools

The main shows run by LDN wrestling throughout 2012 regularly used students that graduated training from our gyms, so the possibility of turning professional through LDN training is a serious one.

Your starting age does not determine your success in our business, your determination does.

We will work with you in regards to fitness etc.

At all 3 centres students receive a comprehensive training program covering basic wrestling fundamentals such as freestyle/amateur wrestling as well as the grass roots of professional wrestling.

Each week all trainees are taken through stretching before the training begins and break falls so that they are well versed in landing safely. Actual training for new students consists of simple holds and counter holds as well as takedowns/controlled throws. As trainees progress the lessons will include a more in-depth understanding of how wrestling shows work behind the scenes.
